In a mixing bowl, combine the corn kernels, flour, cornmeal, jalapeno, and green onions.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the egg mixture into the corn mixture and stir until just combined.
Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet.
Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Remove fried nuggets from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
