Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the jalapeños by cutting them in half lengthwise and removing seeds.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  • Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
