  • 4 ripe pears halved
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the pears by halving and coring them.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, walnuts, and melted butter.
  • Fill each pear half generously with the oat mixture.
  • Place the stuffed pears in a baking dish and cover them with foil.
