Deliciously Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake for Home Cooking

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 avocado sliced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Rinse and soak the sushi rice for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Cook the sushi rice in a rice cooker or on the stovetop with water.
  • Prepare the spicy salmon mixture by combining mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
  • Flake the cooked salmon and fold it into the spicy mixture gently.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread the cooked sushi rice in an even layer at the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Layer the spicy salmon mixture over the sushi rice evenly.
  • Bake the dish in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on top.
  • Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before garnishing with avocado slices and green onions.
  • Serve warm, garnished with sesame seeds, and enjoy!
