Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until just combined.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently to combine.
  • Fold in the diced strawberries and white chocolate chips, if using.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
