Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 8 oz sliced salami
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the pan. Sauté until the vegetables soften, about 3–5 minutes.
  • Stir in the pepperoni and salami, mixing everything in the pan for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the marinara sauce, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the mixture with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice the hoagie rolls down the center, without cutting all the way through.
  • Stuff each roll with the sausage and vegetable mixture, then top with provolone cheese.
  • Place the stuffed rolls on a baking sheet, then bake for 15–20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
