Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese
  • 4 sheets phyllo dough
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the phyllo dough by laying out one sheet and brushing it lightly with olive oil.
  • Layer another sheet of phyllo on top, brush with olive oil, and repeat until you have four layers.
  • In a bowl, crumble the feta cheese and mix in honey, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Place a portion of the feta mixture at one end of the phyllo, then roll it up tightly.
  • Brush the outside of the rolled phyllo with olive oil to promote browning during baking.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While the rolls are baking, prepare the chili honey by heating honey and mixing in additional chili flakes as desired.
  • Remove the rolls from the oven, drizzle with chili honey, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
